Full ADOPT Grant: Round 9
Run an on-farm trial of a new idea and show other English farmers whether it works.
ADOPT funds farmers to test something new on their own land and then tell everyone else what happened. Round 9 shares up to £5 million across on-farm trial and demonstration projects.
Grants run from £25,000 to £160,000.
You must be an active farming, growing or forestry business based in England, and you must be able to show you are an established business — sole traders and partnerships count.…
In scope: on-farm trials or experiments testing ideas or solutions that are new or not yet widely used, addressing a major on-farm or immediate post-farmgate challenge. Your project must have the potential to significantly improve at least one of productivity, resilience, or sustainability and progress towards net zero farming. You must show other English farmers, growers or foresters how the project benefits them. Innovate UK funds a spread across technologies, maturity levels, markets, farming sectors and regions rather than simply ranking applications.
