DoW Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis Research Program, Therapeutic Development Award
Funds preclinical-to-IND-enabling work on an ALS drug that already has proof-of-concept efficacy data and a lead compound in hand.

Preclinical-to-IND-enabling therapeutic development for ALS, entering with a lead compound already in hand and proof-of-concept efficacy data from at least one preclinical model, with mechanism-specific target-engagement and pharmacodynamic biomarker development run in parallel to improve trial design, patient selection or interpretation. Candidates that already hold an IND, and biomarkers not tied to the therapeutic programme, are out of scope.
