Projects focused solely on the development of technologies enabling the acquisition of biomedical knowledge, justified by technical innovation and by that innovation's utility for future biomedical research, with outcomes that significantly advance the state of the art and are sufficiently characterised for application across a broad range of biomedical research questions. Clinical trials are not allowed.
