DoW Military Burn, Patient-Centered Research Award
Funds clinical research on how burn-care practices, tools, and policies actually work once deployed in austere military settings.
Knowing a burn-care intervention works in a study is different from knowing it can actually be delivered to a patient in an austere, resource-limited military environment, and that second gap is where a lot of good research quietly stops mattering.
This award funds building a knowledge base of clinically useful findings about how interventions, clinical practices, guidelines, tools, and policies β¦
