DoW Peer Reviewed Medical, Clinical Trial Award
Funds a clinical trial in one of the year's congressionally named disease topics, sized by phase into three cost tiers.
Congress names a fresh slate of disease and condition topics for the Peer Reviewed Medical Research Program every fiscal year, and this award is where the money goes once an idea from one of those topics is ready for an actual clinical trial β not the science that gets an idea to that point.

Clinical trials addressing a disease or condition inside the fiscal year's congressionally directed PRMRP topic areas, sized into three funding levels by trial phase and offered with or without a preceding regulatory-and-planning stage. Animal studies and finalizing the intervention are not funded under the planning option.
