Small research projects — pilot and feasibility studies, secondary analysis of existing data, small self-contained projects, development of research methodology or new research technology — for holders of career development awards from the National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases, applied for during the later years of that award. Clinical trials are optional.
