Small-scale research projects at institutions awarding NIH-relevant baccalaureate or advanced degrees in the health professions that have received under $6 million a year of National Institutes of Health support in four of the last seven fiscal years, providing research experience for undergraduate or graduate students at the school and strengthening its research environment. Clinical trials are not allowed.
