Funds faster drug-susceptibility tests for tuberculosis and related mycobacterial infections that skip slow culture-based methods.

The standard way to find out which drugs a tuberculosis strain will respond to is a culture-based test, and culture is slow — slow enough that a patient can be on the wrong drug for weeks before anyone finds out. This notice funds replacing that wait.
