Environmental Health Sciences Core Centers Program
Funds shared facilities, services and resources for a group of environmental health researchers, plus community engagement and translation.
A core centre does not do research. It makes other people's research possible, and it is judged on whether they do it better because the centre exists.
The institute describes these centres as intellectual hubs and expects them to be thought leaders for environmental health science, advancing the goals of its current five-year strategic plan.
