Genomic Community Resources

Funds new or existing genomic resources of broad value to the research community, for both basic and clinical genomics.

Genomics research depends on shared resources nobody wants to build twice — reference data sets, curated databases, standardised tools — and somebody still has to build and maintain them. This notice funds that work directly.

NHGRI, with NCI and NIEHS, intends to support both new and already-established genomic resources with demonstrated broad value to the research community. What gets funded is

Development, curation and distribution of high-value genomic resources — new or already established — with demonstrated broad value for both basic and clinical genomics research, combining computational genomics and data-science expertise with clinical applications.
