The EIT Food Accelerator Network (FAN) – Call for Startups 2026 is an EIT Food prize that awards up to €50,000 to top agrifood and foodtech startups after a hub-based accelerator. Each of six hubs runs a different theme: Munich covers low-carbon supply chains, Helsinki circular food systems, Paris biotech ingredients, Warsaw resilient agriculture, Catania water-smart agrifood systems, and Wagening

Open to registered agrifood and foodtech companies founded in or after 2016 with a technology-based prototype or pilot at TRL 4-8, matching one of six hub themes: low-carbon supply chains, circular food systems, biotech ingredients, resilient agriculture, water-smart agrifood systems, or digital and autonomous farming. Applicants should be pre-Series A, with revenue up to €1 million and a team of 20 or fewer, ideally with completed customer validation and evidence of traction.
