The call wants production technologies for fibre-based packaging scaled to TRL 8, with properties that beat existing fossil or bio-based benchmarks and can replace current incumbents in consumer or industrial packaging. Proposals must design for circularity and validate a sustainable end-of-life route — recycling, reuse or remanufacturing — at TRL 6 or above.
