The CBE JU 2026 Call for Project Proposals is the Circular Bio-based Europe Joint Undertaking's (CBE JU) annual funding round for bio-based innovation across biorefinery, packaging and bio-based materials, biorefinery separation and textile fibres, and industry uptake support. The call is organised into four action types, each with its own funding tier. Four Innovation Action flagship topics carry

The 2026 call funds bio-based innovation across four action types: flagship and standard innovation actions in biorefinery, packaging and bio-based materials; research and innovation actions in biorefinery separation and textile fibres; and coordination and support actions for industry uptake. Topics range from safe-and-sustainable-by-design fertilisers and personal-care products to nutritional food ingredients and circular packaging.
