This call funds development of an advanced airframe — wing, fuselage, empennage and key enabling systems — for an ultra-efficient regional aircraft concept based on hybrid-electric propulsion. Proposals should target a 10% reduction in CO2 contribution from airframe technologies against the 2020 state of the art, proven through ground demonstrations up to Technology Readiness Level 6, supporting entry into service by 2035.
