MeitY GENESIS EiR Cohort-2
Provides up to Rs. 10 lakh, equity-free, to founders and students in Tier II/III cities.
This is a national government scheme run locally by the ACIC-BMU Foundation, which selects entrants for its second cohort and provides mentorship alongside the funding. Selected founders must be physically incubated at the ACIC-BMU centre for the program's duration. This round closed to new applications in October 2025.
The program backs early founders working in DeepTech, Electronic System Design and Manufacturing (ESDM), and Information and Communications Technology (ICT). Applicants must be full-time UG/PG students or DPIIT-recognised startup founders whose venture is no more than two years old, with an idea at the ideation-to-prototype stage. Applicants must be based in Tier II or Tier III Indian cities.
