Revival and Rehabilitation Scheme for Defunct MSMEs and Cashew Processing Units

Grants Kerala's defunct manufacturing MSMEs and cashew units up to Rs15 lakh.

A 'defunct MSME' is non-operational for six months or more but revivable -- except units that closed because of the plastic ban or that want to diversify, which aren't held to that six-month rule; a defunct cashew processing unit qualifies at six months regardless of whether it already received government assistance or a bank loan within that window. Applicants apply online through the Directorate

The scheme funds manufacturing MSMEs in Kerala, including cashew processing units, that have been non-operational for at least 6 months but have a genuine path back to viability. It pays for building repairs, new or repaired machinery and electrification, and a share of working capital margin — not units that folded through mismanagement.
