STEP Path A: Biotechnology

Grants Polish biotech companies and consortia up to PLN 140 million for critical-tech R&D.

If the applicant or a consortium enterprise is a special-purpose vehicle too new to show 24 months of trading and two closed financial years, the requirement shifts to its parent company instead of disqualifying the SPV outright. When a research organisation joins the consortium, the enterprise or enterprises in it must still cover at least 50% of the whole project's eligible costs -- the research

Funds R&D projects that develop a critical technology bringing an innovative, state-of-the-art or breakthrough element with significant economic potential to the EU internal market, specifically in biotechnology, including work that protects and strengthens critical-technology value chains. A project can combine industrial research and development work, or cover development work alone.
