In scope: infrastructure that improves the environment on farms, woodlands and other rural land; protecting habitats; improving water quality and air quality; natural flood management systems; increasing biodiversity; and restoring and creating hedgerows, boundaries and orchards. The grant can also include tree planting, reducing pollution from water run-off and emissions, and helping manage flood risk. It can be standalone or support and complement Sustainable Farming Incentive, specified Countryside Stewardship, and Environmental Stewardship agreements. No further exclusions are stated.
