BoSS wants teams to pioneer technologies that let cell and gene therapies, and other biologics, be produced, stored and shipped at room temperature instead of the ultra-cold 'cold chain' they need today. The program has two technical areas: developing cell interventions for stabilization and restoration, and engineering scalable cell-processing systems that deploy those biostabilization strategies at commercial scale.
