Translational research transforming a vision-research discovery into a new drug, device or clinical practice guideline ready for definitive clinical testing, including a pilot but not a full-scale clinical trial, aligned with at least one FY26 Vision Research Program Focus Area. Teams developing a new drug or device must include regulatory-approval-process expertise.
