Funds new analysis of clinical, genomic, environmental and registry data that already exists, to sharpen who is at risk of cancer and what happens to them.
Enormous amounts of data have already been gathered on cancer, and much of it has been analysed once, for one question, by one team. The National Cancer Institute and several partner institutes fund the second and third look.

Secondary analysis and integration of existing clinical, environmental, surveillance, health services, vital statistics, behavioural, lifestyle, genomic and molecular datasets to elucidate cancer risk, risk reduction, survival and treatment response, through new aims, advanced analytical methods or novel dataset combinations. Clinical trials are not allowed.
