Planning grants for preparatory studies before a cancer prevention and control clinical trial is finalised — study population, accrual, intervention, endpoints, statistical and data challenges and operational risks — and feasibility testing of low-infrastructure trial designs, across prevention and interception, health behaviours, screening, early detection, healthcare delivery, symptom management, supportive care and survivorship. Clinical trials are optional.
