Funds up to two years planning a behavioural or social intervention trial in oral health, then up to five running it if the milestones are met.
Oral disease is largely behavioural — brushing, diet, smoking, whether people go to a dentist at all. This notice funds trials of changing that, and it funds the planning and the trial as one award.
The studies in scope are clinical trials that develop and test behaviour change interventions related to dental, oral or craniofacial conditions.
