Investigator Initiated Innovation in Computational Genomics and Data Science (R01)
Funds computational genomics work — new analytical methods, early-stage tools, or hardening software the genomics community already relies on.
This notice funds three different stages of the same thing, which is unusual and useful.
The field is computational genomics, data science, statistics and bioinformatics, relevant to basic or clinical genomic science and broadly applicable to human health and disease.
The three stages are named directly. Developing innovative analytical methodologies and approaches. Early-stage development of to…
Research in computational genomics, data science, statistics and bioinformatics for basic or clinical genomic science, covering innovative analytical methodologies, early-stage development of tools and software, and refinement or hardening of high-value existing software, enabling for genomics and generalisable across diseases and biological systems. Every application must address scaling to larger datasets. Clinical trials are not allowed.
