Exploratory development of novel theory and methods delineating how genetic and non-genetic factors contribute to complex trait variation across individuals, families and populations, interdisciplinary across the natural and social sciences, accounting for interdependencies across biological, social and ecological scales, using theory, simulations and validation against existing large-scale datasets. Clinical trials are not allowed.
