A single investigator's discrete, circumscribed project on discovery, preclinical development or proof-of-concept testing of new candidate agents and neurostimulation approaches for mental disorders, substance use disorders or alcohol use disorder, including development of novel ligands or circuit-engagement devices to characterise or validate drug and device targets. Clinical trials are optional.
