UG1 cooperative agreements funding investigator-initiated clinical vision research that is complex, high-resource or needs elevated safety oversight — multi-center trials, human gene-transfer and stem cell therapy trials, and epidemiological studies — addressing the causes, diagnosis, prevention, treatment and rehabilitation of eye and vision conditions across the lifespan, through a Chair's Grant, Coordinating Center and Resource Center(s).
