Funds buying one commercially available research instrument new to the institution, shared across users, from $50,000 up to $400,000.
A single missing instrument can cap what an institution's researchers are even able to attempt. This notice buys the first one — a single, commercially available biomedical research instrument the institution does not currently have.
The purpose is building new research capacity and a sustainable research program around it, not equipping one lab's existing work.
