NIH Resource Access Program (X01)

Accelerating Discovery through Partnered Research with All of Us to Analyze Participant Biospecimens

Funds running new assays on stored blood, serum and DNA from the All of Us Research Program's biobank.

The All of Us Research Program has been collecting blood, serum and DNA from a huge cross-section of the population for years. This notice is how an outside research team gets to actually run something against that collection.

The award is an X01, not open project funding, but purpose-built access to a specific resource: stored blood plasma, blood serum, and extracted DNA held in the All of Us Bi

Purpose-built access, through partnered research studies, to stored blood plasma, blood serum and extracted DNA in the All of Us Research Program Biobank, adding new multiomic, clinical, environmental and life-course data back to the All of Us Researcher Workbench; high-priority areas include integrated multiomics, early disease detection, biomarker discovery or validation, novel risk models, and disease stratification for precision medicine. A clinical trial is not allowed.
