Collaborative Network for Clinical Research on Immune Tolerance

Funds one network running clinical trials and mechanism studies on training the immune system into tolerance for transplants and autoimmune disease.

The immune system can be trained to stop attacking something — a transplanted organ, the body's own tissue, an allergen — and this network exists to make that training reliable enough to use in the clinic.
