Multi-site clinical studies and trials on preventing and treating asthma in economically disadvantaged, high-disease-burden urban paediatric populations, developing and testing prevention hypotheses, identifying and testing new treatment targets including those for type 2 low asthma mechanisms, exploring the relationship between upper and lower airway disease, and using systems biology to identify disease endotypes suited to existing and novel therapies.
