COMpetency in Menopause & Integrated Therapy (COMMIT) Challenge
Pays up to $200,000 per prize (total $2.5M pool) to U.S. institutions with proven menopause-education curricula.
The COMpetency in Menopause & Integrated Therapy (COMMIT) Challenge is an NIH prize that pays up to $200,000 per prize, from a $2.5 million pool, to U.S. institutions with proven menopause-education curricula. Every submission first goes through an administrative screening confirming the institution's eligibility and the entry's completeness, before an Evaluation Panel of technical experts scores …
The COMMIT Challenge seeks fully accredited, U.S.-based, non-profit academic institutions that already run evidence-based, scalable menopause-education curricula for medical, nursing, dental, pharmacy, occupational therapy, physical therapy or other allied health degree programs. Track 1 rewards a foundational, competency-based core curriculum usable across every health profession, while Track 2 rewards advanced, specialty-specific competencies that build on that core, such as complex hormone-therapy management in obstetrics and gynecology or menopause considerations in cardiology and oncology. It rewards programs already implemented and proven, not proposals to build new ones.
