POCIDIF Action 2.1

Funds Romanian ICT SMEs building an innovative software product with EUR 200,000-1.5 million.

This is run under Romania's national funding authority (MIPE), with its applicant guide approved by ministerial order on 23 June 2026. The programme pays non-repayable aid toward building an innovative software product for the market, not toward buying software licences for internal use, so the dominant costs are development costs such as analysis, architecture, programming, testing and launch. POCIDIF Action 2.1 backs Romanian small and medium enterprises with an ICT CAEN code that are building an innovative software product or service meant for the market, not for internal use. A higher ceiling applies only when the innovation is hardware manufactured by the beneficiary, not a typical software-only project.
