Only the Finnish side of a joint project draws on this money: Business Finland's grant can go to a company operating in Finland or to a Finnish research organization taking part, while funding for the Chinese partner comes separately through China's own government funding body. Beyond the usual innovation-cooperation goals Business Finland applies to any project, this call is specifically meant to…
Business Finland and China's Ministry of Science and Technology fund cross-border co-innovation projects on climate change, circular economy, sustainable development, health, or other fields both sides agree to fund. Eligible projects need at least one applicant from each country, submitted as a joint plan with IPR terms and a consortium agreement.
