This call wants projects that scale up already-validated digital health tools — mobile health platforms, electronic health records, AI-assisted decision support — to national or sub-regional level in sub-Saharan Africa, not build new technology from scratch. It's looking for improved data interoperability between health systems, a roadmap for embedding digital tools into clinical trials and public health systems, and stronger local retention of digital-health and bioinformatics talent.
