This topic wants late-stage (Phase IIb onward) clinical studies evaluating prevention or treatment measures against a specific list of LRTI pathogens — including S. pneumoniae, RSV, influenza and several others — in sub-Saharan Africa, with priority on interventions close to availability such as Phase III assets or products already approved in the EU/US. Tuberculosis, CMV, human coronaviruses and fungi are explicitly out of scope, as are antibiotics; prophylactic vaccines, monoclonal antibodies and other antivirals are the intended interventions.
