Single-stage RIA proposals are capped at 50 pages for Part B. Beyond the core form, several annexes are compulsory: a detailed budget-and-participants table, a declaration of in-kind contribution commitment, and a statement on clinical studies -- even a proposal with no clinical studies at all must upload a declaration saying so. A separate annex for in-kind contributions to additional activities …
Applicants define their own project within this objective, but outcomes must add new understanding of the determinants of health and priority disease areas — covering the whole spectrum from prevention to disease management, and centred on any combination of disease areas, precision diagnostics, personalised medicine or chronic disease management. Digitalisation, AI and regulatory science tools count too, if they serve that goal.
