Innovative energy research, development, and demonstration projects in the Irish energy sector. The 2026 call includes an Open Strand and a Research Priority Strand with six priority areas: Energy Security and System Resilience; Affordable, Sustainable Energy for Homes and Businesses; Public Sector Decarbonisation and Energy Leadership; Health and Environmental Co-Benefits; Fair, Inclusive and Just Energy Transition; Digital, Data & AI for Energy Innovation. An optional Offshore Renewable Energy RDD+ pathway is available.
