Zero-Emission Coach Subsidy (STour)

Pays Dutch coach operators part of the extra cost of a new battery-electric touring coach.

OpenNetherlands Enterprise AgencyNetherlands

The subsidy rate and cap both scale down as company size goes up: a small company gets 60% of the extra cost over an equivalent diesel coach, capped at €180,000; a medium-sized company gets 50%, capped at €150,000; and a large company gets 30%, capped at €90,000, with size determined by the SME declaration. A coach only counts as 'new' if three separate dates in the RDW vehicle registry match exac

STour is for Dutch coach (touringcar) companies and public-transport concession holders buying or financial-leasing a new, fully battery-electric coach with at least 8 passenger seats and a mass over 5 tonnes. It covers up to 12 coaches per coach-company applicant, or 15 per concession holder.
