My Heat (Moje Ciepło)

Funds household energy upgrades in Poland through heat pump installation grants for home modernization.

Moje Ciepło (My Heat) is a Polish national subsidy program administered by NFOŚiGW that provides grants of 7,000 to 21,000 PLN to private individuals installing heat pumps — ground-source or air-source — in newly-built single-family residential homes. The program has a total budget of 600,000,000 PLN and operates on a continuous basis from April 29, 2022, through December 31, 2026, or until funds are exhausted. As of May 2026, it remained on the NFOŚiGW open-calls schedule with the December 2026 deadline intact. Applications are submitted exclusively through the electronic GWD portal at gwd.nfosigw.gov.pl.

Grant amounts cover 30% or 45% of qualified heat pump installation costs, capped at 21,000 PLN per investment regardless of system type. The 45% rate applies to higher-income-threshold applicants meeting specific efficiency requirements for the installed equipment; the standard rate is 30%. Both ground-source and air-source heat pumps are supported; the installed unit must meet program efficiency and certification requirements. Only newly-built single-family homes qualify — retrofits of existing buildings are not supported under this program (those projects belong in Czyste Powietrze). As of October 24, 2024, applicants are no longer required to be named on the building permit; a notarized ownership or property document suffices for application.

Eligibility is restricted to private individuals building new single-family residential buildings in Poland — businesses, nonprofits, and public entities may not apply. The program is entirely electronic; paper applications are not accepted. Applicants should submit via the GWD portal and may contact the program team at mojecieplo@nfosigw.gov.pl or the NFOŚiGW hotline at 22-45-90-800. Because the program closes upon budget exhaustion, applicants ready to install heat pumps should apply without delay rather than waiting until the formal December 2026 deadline.
