GOZ — It Pays Off (to się opłaca; Circular Economy)
Supports circular economy training and advisory services across Polish enterprises.
GOZ – to się opłaca (Circular Economy – It Pays Off) is a PARP-administered training and advisory programme under FERS (ESF+) 2021–2027 that builds circular economy capability across Polish enterprises of all sizes — micro, small, medium, and large. Participation in all training and post-training advisory services is 100% financed from EU funds, requiring no co-financing from the beneficiary. Rolling intake continues until 31 January 2027; the programme has been operating since March 2024. Per-beneficiary cost caps are not specified at the programme level.
The curriculum covers two tiers. General training addresses circular economy transition concepts, sustainable development principles, EU regulatory requirements, circular business models, and financing instruments. Specialised training goes deeper into sectoral resource constraints, waste management practice, GOZ business tools (life-cycle assessment, carbon footprint measurement), circular product design, and value chain analysis. Post-training advisory services are also included. All enterprises must have a headquarters or permanent business location in Poland and must not be subject to EU sanctions related to the Russian aggression in Ukraine. Enterprises already enrolled in a concurrent GOZ – to się opłaca project are excluded from parallel participation. De minimis aid rules apply.
The programme is designed for enterprises at any stage of circular economy maturity — no prior expertise is required. Companies planning sustainability compliance in advance of tightening EU product regulations are the primary target audience. Because the programme is 100% EU-funded with no co-contribution required, the main cost to applicants is staff time and the administrative effort of enrolling through a PARP-accredited operator. PARP administers the programme under FERS, with all activity conducted in Poland and disbursements in PLN.
Fully EU-funded circular economy training — covering general transition topics, specialised tools (LCA, carbon footprint, waste management, circular product design), and post-training advisory — for Polish enterprises of all sizes.
