Targeted capital investment that renews, replaces or enhances existing capabilities for environmental science within existing research infrastructures and facilities. It will not fund entirely new facilities or major new research infrastructure, routine operational, maintenance or servicing costs, resource-only activities, or research projects whose primary purpose is generating new research findings.
