Invasive neural recording and stimulation studies in humans addressing mental health-relevant questions about neural circuitry and dynamics underlying moods, emotions, cognitive functions and behaviours at high spatial and temporal resolution, including causal tests by modulating network dynamics through the same electrodes, and development of new technologies and therapeutic approaches.
