Investigator-designed research into how preanalytical variability — collection, processing and storage — in tumour tissue biopsies, liquid biopsies, tissue swabs, secretions, aspirates, faeces or bodily fluids affects biomarkers measured by existing clinical assay platforms, aimed at evidence-based standardisation of biospecimen handling.
