Toward Translation of Nanotechnology Cancer Interventions (TTNCI)
Funds advanced preclinical work maturing a nanoparticle-based cancer diagnostic or therapeutic toward the National Cancer Institute's own translation pipeline.
A nanoparticle that works in a dish is a long way from one ready for the National Cancer Institute's own translational programmes. This award funds the stretch in between.
The National Cancer Institute encourages applications for advanced pre-clinical research supporting the translation of nanotechnology-based cancer diagnostics and therapeutics — the notice's own name for this is Toward Translat…
Advanced pre-clinical research maturing nanoparticle- or nano-device-based cancer diagnostics and therapeutics, where the combination of structural design and delivered therapeutic or diagnostic cargo shows strong potential to improve cancer treatment effectiveness, developed toward the NCI Experimental Therapeutics programme and other NCI translational programmes. Clinical trials are not allowed.
