A single clinical research network designing, implementing and managing clinical studies on bacterial and fungal infections tied to antimicrobial resistance: testing new antibiotics and other treatments such as bacteriophage therapy, optimising use of existing antibiotics, evaluating novel diagnostic tests including their use to refine treatment strategies, and mentoring the next generation of antimicrobial-resistance clinical researchers.
