Cloudflare is a U.S.-based internet infrastructure and security company on the NYSE that runs its Impact programs by donating products and services to at-risk organizations. Since 2017 it has donated more than $83 million in product value, including more than $19 million in 2025, and the programs now cover more than 4,000 Internet properties.
The portfolio includes Project Galileo for human rights, civil society, journalism, and democracy groups; Athenian Project for state and local election websites; Cloudflare for Campaigns; Project Pangea for routing and connectivity problems; Project Cybersafe Schools for school districts; and Cloudflare for Startups through the Workers Launchpad track. Project Galileo began in 2014 and is typically activated through trusted partners or a direct application path.
This is in-kind security and connectivity support, not cash grantmaking. The practical value is DDoS protection, DNS, WAF, CDN, Zero Trust, and related infrastructure for organizations that need resilience more than unrestricted money, including public-interest sites, election systems, community ISPs, and schools with limited protection budgets.
