Feasibility Studies is a grant program from Innoviris, the Brussels-Capital Region's public innovation agency, that funds the technical feasibility check phase of an innovative project. The program covers 50% to 70% of the cost of a technical feasibility study, whether carried out in-house or by an external specialist institution or consultant.

Eligibility requires that the company be active in the Brussels-Capital Region, not be in financial difficulty per European legislation, and that the feasibility study may not start before the first day of the month following the submission of the application. The company must be able to cover part of the project costs and must have fulfilled obligations under any previous regional support.

The external subcontractor (if used) must have at least two years of experience and demonstrate a sufficiently high level of competence, evidenced by a list of references. Funding is provided in the form of a direct subsidy. Applicants unsure about eligibility can submit a 'Test Your Idea' form to validate with Innoviris before a full application.

Note: Innoviris announced on 24 March 2026 that no new projects can be funded in 2026 due to budget constraints. All programs are suspended; existing projects continue under signed agreements. Applications submitted before the suspension remain in process and may be funded in 2027 pending available resources.
