Eligibility · Brussels-Capital Region, Belgium

Circular Innovation: Re-use & Recycle is a grant program from Innoviris, the Brussels-Capital Region's public innovation agency, designed to support Brussels companies testing whether an innovative business based on re-using or recycling waste is feasible and economically viable. The program covers 50% to 70% of eligible project costs.

The program addresses projects that plan to set up an activity based on re-using or recycling waste and need to check feasibility, experiment with design, explore waste supply sources, or validate local demand and economic viability.

Eligible applicants include companies of various legal structures (including SA, non-profit organizations, SC, SRL, etc.) with activities in the Brussels-Capital Region. Projects must develop an activity (product or service) based on re-using or recycling waste. The company must demonstrate ability to finance its own share of costs and must have fulfilled prior regional support obligations. Projects must have a minimum duration of 6 months. Collaborative projects are permitted.

Note: Innoviris announced on 24 March 2026 that no new projects can be funded in 2026 due to budget constraints. All programs are suspended. Applications submitted before the suspension remain in process and may be funded in 2027 pending available resources.
