This topic funds late-stage development of diagnostic tests for vector-borne diseases (VBDs), aiming to bring devices to near-market readiness, improve existing tests' accessibility, affordability or accuracy, or create new solutions where none exist. It wants proposals that build on molecular assays and serological tests backed by evidence on novel antigens or genetic sequences, including clinical testing, and that stay clear of duplicating ongoing EU-funded work such as Horizon Europe projects.
